To be the princess in my fairy tale
To be the prince and the valiant knight
To be the king of all seven lands
And to be the queen of the world
To live in a world of adventure and magic,
Fairy dust and green lands of beauty
In my own castle as lord and savior
Protecting my kingdom with bravery
To snuggle in bed
On a rainy day with a magical book
Knowing that mom was around
And dad was keeping the fort safe
To wear a pearl necklace
On my pale slender neck
And look as fresh and ethereal as
A redhead with green eyes
To walk in the snow in the morning
When the moon is still shining
Feeling completely alone yet safe
With the world slowly starting to buzz with life
To feel the sprinkle of raindrops
Hugging my skin with the wind
To take a breath and feel my lungs fill
With the smell of fresh rain
And gloomy, cozy weather
That sends a shiver down my spine
In awe of a perfect moment in time
To feel peace with a tinge
Of a bittersweet ache
To be or not to be
As you like it
In a midsummer night’s dream
To the sound of the empty drum
No place I’d rather be
Than in a realm of imagination
Freedom to be anyone
Go anywhere as I please
